About Us
QueenTea™ is a mentoring program tailored for elementary, middle, and high school girls. As its name suggests, we host etiquette and social enrichment sessions for our queens while enjoying afternoon tea. Afternoon tea is the tool we use to create a fun and engaging environment to stimulate conversation. QueenTea™ not only focuses on basic etiquette but social manners, integrity, leadership, community service and social responsibility. There was a time in our society when good manners were afforded a more significant emphasis as an essential part of our upbringing. Refined manners and social skills continue to play a valuable role in the bright future we envision for our girls.
Using tea parties, we create and foster a learning environment that is light-hearted, fun, promotes active participation, and develops relationships all while emphasizing vital life skills that will contribute to healthy, confident, and responsible character development. Tea parties are enjoyed in many themes that empower young girls in a space where they can feel safe and valued. The QueenTea™ group setting allows students to engage in both aspects of mentoring, seeking counsel and providing support. Our program is most beneficial with practice and repetition and a minimum of eight sessions is suggested.
In learning civility and etiquette, the girls will become more respectful of others and themselves through gestures and words and it is encouraged that older girls mentor younger girls in the program - 8th graders mentor 6th graders, 7th graders mentor 5th graders. This not only builds their confidence and sense of worth; it also allows them to be the person their younger selves needed. At the conclusion, parents are invited to join our tea party and observe the new empowerment!

Our Mission
QueenTea™ is dedicated to providing the positive influences that will empower and provide opportunities for our girls to develop the social tools they need to become brilliant, successful, and contributing members of society - just as they were intended to be. QueenTea™ will help develop the necessary life skills to make positive choices by providing guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear. Empowerment can be one of the most effective strategies for providing opportunities to develop both confidence and competence. QueenTea™ strives to meet the social needs of our girls.
Curriculum
The QueenTea™ curriculum will help develop the competencies to excel in the classroom and beyond. From table manners and civility, to the importance of first impressions and personal image, our girls will learn how to prepare for everyday and professional situations. With fun and role-playing, our sessions will cover topics specifically related to leadership, personal responsibility and professional development. These basic but vital skills contribute to the healthy, confident, and responsible character development of our children as they grow into the next generation of role models, mentors, and coaches.
Impact
Civil social interaction is of great importance. With the rise of social media technologies, we spend less time interacting as families, as communities and especially one-on-one. In our modern society, less face-to-face interaction and connection, busyness with extracurricular activities and even daily life stress can sometimes detract from the attention that should be given to learning and practicing respect, kindness and good manners. QueenTea™ understands that by teaching civility and etiquette, our girls will become more respectful of others and themselves through gestures and words. It is our responsibility to protect our children’s futures and to provide them opportunities to develop the social tools they need to become successful contributing members of their communities. QueenTea™ understands the best way to predict our children’s future is to help them create it.
